Simone Strano is a freelance high-end retoucher based in Italy, working with photographers, studios and agencies on still life, food, luxury and beauty campaigns.

Over the years, the work has spanned an extensive range of international campaigns and editorials — from watches and fragrance to food and jewellery — for clients including Chanel, Mercedes-Benz, Bvlgari and Rimowa.

Every project is handled with a fully non-destructive workflow and a tailor-made approach: no templates, no shortcuts. The goal is always to bring the image further than the brief — efficiently, and within deadline.

On-set support is available as an integral part of the service. With years of experience as a digital operator and Phase One certified professional, the presence on set goes beyond tethering: it means anticipating retouching problems before they happen, optimising the shoot for post, and reducing friction between capture and final delivery.
